When I was in Baltimore I used delivery a couple times and it was heaven. a) I didn't have to carry my groceries the 6 blocks from Whole Foods b) I didn't have to lose my parking by driving there.
I'd still walk when I just had a few things or when I wanted produce, but I remember preparing for holiday baking and thinking.... aw hell no. So, for stocking up shopping it was nice.
