Okay, so I'm catching up on shows for the week I was gone and this week. Here are my thoughts on what I've seen so far (and some of you might have heard this already in other comments I've made):
Chuck - Fun show, but can it really work for a whole season? Seems like it might have made a better 90 minute movie. I like all the actors though. I'm watching it for the actors because the plots are full of cheese.
Reaper - See the above; very cute concept but not really a lot of substance there. But the actors all amuse me, especially the devil. So I will keep tuning in.
Pushing Daisies - okay, I've only watched the pilot. It feels like something out of a Roald Dahl book as interpreted by Tim Burton while he was on some sort of anti-depressant. I like the actors, especially the main guy. The girl reminds me a lot of Zooey Deschanel (in my mind, I keep calling her the Poor Man's Zooey).
jimithingy was worried about the constant narration. I'm hoping as the season goes on the voice over man will back off a little.
House - what a pleasant surprise!!! I am loving this season of House. I love goofy!House and silly!Wilson. I was tired of Foreman/Cameron/Chase so I don't mind seeing House just run around and be silly. But now that Foreman was fired from his new job, will he show up again at the hospital? I hope not. :\
Heroes - wake me when Kristen shows up because this season so far has been snooze-fest. Not a whole lot I can say here that has not been said already. And I know the guy who created Heroes claims that he's never read an x-men comic but dude, pick one up because you are ripping them off left and right and you clearly think its something new. Maybe you could get a few pointers. *gets into her Nissan and drives away*
Bionic Woman - I watched the pilot. Twas very meh. Heard very negative things about episode 2 so I keep putting off watching it. I just want to see Katee. *sigh*
Office - you know, I doubted that Jim/Pam would work once it happened. I was so wrong to doubt. I love them even MORE! Tonight's episode "Launch Party" was hilarious! Andy's song at the end was great. Michael is still painful to watch, but everyone else just cracks me up.
30 Rock - I now love Tina Fey. She's just too funny all the time. She has such a good ear for writing dialogue that sounds like people speak. I mean, tonight she said "my internet was being weird!" and I just cracked up because it sounded like something we would say. So many shows fumble when it comes to sounding natural. And Will Arnett was on so BONUS! I <3 30 Rock.
Dexter - I've only watched the first episode of this season but boy did I miss this show! Michael C. Hall is just so good as Dexter. Fantastic cast all around. And OMFG they found the bodies!!! I cannot wait to see where this season goes!
I have Dirty Sexy Money on the DVR to watch. We didn't realize that Nate (from Six Feet Under...I can't remember his real name and I"m too lazy to look) was in it, so we'll watch it for Nate. I've been hearing a very positive buzz about it.

Date: 2007-10-12 04:29 pm (UTC)None of the new shows have made me say OMG you MUST watch but I'm hoping after a few episodes, I will have stronger feelings either way. Not the best crop of new shows ever. Ah well.

Date: 2007-10-12 04:37 pm (UTC)This would actually be awesome. Would (s)he be limited to one kind of tea, or would multiple kinds be possible depending on the item (s)he is turning into said tea? I imagine that Sylar would love to use this power against Mohinder to get him back for the TEA OF DEATH incident in Season One. ^_^
Based on the fact that Sylar's hair stayed up
on Lostaway Islandin the humid jungle, I'm convinced that he has some kind of super-hairstyling power. I bet that's the power that Molly's dad had.You know, I really need to make an icon for my cracktastic theories...

Date: 2007-10-12 04:42 pm (UTC)Hm...yes, this hero would have the ability to create all kinds of teas. They would use him as a decoy while Molly escaped thinking Sylar wouldn't bother him/her, but then Sylar would suddenly want tea, and he would steal his power just so he could have some earl grey HOT before killing everyone in the world!
