Conan plays Tomb Raider

Okay, even though I AM a gamer and I love this game, I pretty much reacted the same way Conan did to these situations. Especially that death animation when she is on the river, which was the only point in the game I came close to Rage!Quitting.

I completed the main storyline for this game and I thought it was decent. It's a prequel, which means that we get to see Lara freak out, cry and, of course, ironically whine that she "hates tombs". **sigh** But the story was pretty good even if the puzzle solving could have been a bit more front and center like the old games. I really am hoping that they do another game with Lara as Lara Croft and not teen!Lara.

I actually have the Anniversary Edition of the game that I never played through, probably because my fingers are used to playing that Tomb Raider on a PC, my first gaming system. But I'm feeling inspired and maybe after I finish my playthrough of Dishonored I will pop in the classic Tomb Raider and try to relive the glory days.

Oh Conan. I am not a huge gamer so I play games about the same way. Although I got fairly good at halo and Portal. That death animation is really...unnecessary.

It really was! And deeply disturbing. I think they should only show it once then let you sort of opt-out afterwars. it's messed up that after all the outrage over the scenes that contained scenes of Lara being threatened sexualy they gave you the option to skip those scenes. Lara being impaled, not so much. Hm......
