you know nothing of madness 'til you're climbing her hair!

Well, it looks like the powers that be (**glares at Disney**) did not let Netflix retain the streaming rights to Into the Woods so I can't watch it that way. Thank goodness for YouTube.

Okay, so I actually think Chris Pine could pull that off brilliantly as long as he can carry a tune.

And I have no doubt Anna Kendrick can pull this one off:

My biggest hesitation, as much as I love Meryl Streep, is her as the witch because Bernadette Peters' voice was amazing and unique. Here's her performing one of the songs though out of context so no one gets spoiled for the plot. :)

He can do cheesy/smarmy singing no problem, Pine is perfect for one of the princes.

Also, you know we have the DVD at the library, right? ^_~

Ms. Bernadette is the main reason I'm nervous over this. Like, she is SO that role to me, I can't imagine anyone else doing it. Like ever.

Quite different to how I felt about the Sweeney Todd movie, by the way--Helena Bonham Carter was terrific as Mrs. Lovett, even though I loved Angela Lansbury too. But Meryl Streep? I just don't know.

Disappointed that there was no singing in the trailer! Ah, well.

No one can do that song but Bernadette.
