I always wanted to be a librarian growing up -- until I realized they didn't get to spend all their time reading the books. For a moment there, I thought I had a second chance if I moved across the Atlantic, but it would be worth it, right? since I have both an MSc and PhD in Materials Engineering, and years of post-doctoral experience. Sadly, that wasn't the sort of 'Materials' meant... :-(
