I dunno, I feel like this is one of those superhero issues that we just ignore, thinking "Oh Batman is a good hero because he doesn't kill people" and then don't think about the aftermath. - True. People mostly gloss over those issues. "It's just fiction, who cares?" Well, if something like this happened in real life, you'd probably care a hell of a lot.
