I've been meaning to make this post for awhile, but every time I see someone else update about their game I'm horrified at how far behind I am LOL. I'm only in my 2nd year, I still haven't bothered to clear off all the land yet and my flirting attempts haven't been that great (though I think Leah and I have hit it off totally be accident, sorry Abigail)

There was a giant 'shroom growing in my yard the other day, not sure what that was all about. Felt like something out of Alice and Wonderland! So, naturally, I attacked it with my axe.

I've managed to get down to level 110 in the mines. I like exploring the mines, but I've stopped doing it since Spring came again because SO MANY VEGGIES TO FARM! I have a decent yard set up though still not as many sprinklers as I need so I spend a lot of time watering plants.

I did finally find the Hat Maus and bought a Fedora so she could pretend to be Indiana Jones while exploring the mines:

I've completed two rooms on the Community Center now, repairing the bridge to the quarry and also the mine carts. I befriended the Mayor (after I found his shorts heehee!). I can't find a stupid albacore tuna though!!! I had one and I think I sold it or made sushi out of it.

I still need to grow some hops and make beer for Pam. I got that mission like the second day and totally missed the window. THIS YEAR! (hopefully she is a patient woman...these townsfolk are like the library patrons that place holds on missing items and then

I could not resist standing directly in front of her while she took a photo LOL. She did not seem to care.

I have passed out a few times now. Once Linus found me and said "someone" stole my money...uh huh. Another time I woke up in the hospital. And I think one other time someone brought me home? I think that was when I passed out in the spa LOL.

I don't really care much for any of the eligible dudes. Sebastian is too emo, Sammie seems nice but far too young, apparently Alex and I are friends as I was able to walk into his room but I don't know how that happened! He's too much of a jock for me. Leah was easy to woo since she likes natural and I have a farm so I can give her good food and she's pretty happy LOL. She might be the lady for me.

I'm not even going to tell you how long it took me to bother turning on the TV and watching the shows that give you game hints. **facepalm** I just learned today that my weapon has a special attack? I could have been BLOCKING THIS WHOLE TIME?!?

I married Harvey because I figured if I did that, perhaps I could get a discount when passing out somewhere. Not so much, though. :p

I'm in fall year 3, and haven't really done any vegetables this season. Just some sunflowers and the corn from summer, really. Been concentrating on other things such as fishing or mining. Mostly mining. Do you find iridium down there at those deep levels? I've got to level 85 and I'm finding buckets of gold, but no iridium.

This game looks simply adorable!

I've been to the lowest level of the mines in two saves, and level 50 and 100 in the dungeon, and I never once used the special attacks. People like them, but not using them is 100% fine too!

In my second save, I'm going to try hooking up with the doctor. He's the only man of a reasonable age (until we're able to marry Shane).

Sprinklers help lots! Frees up lots of time.

I don't recall if I found any in the lowest levels of the mines, but if not, you get it in a dungeon you go after you beat the mines.

Oh right. I was wondering what I needed to do to get access to that. Press on, then. (105!)

This game has been on my to do list to play forever. It looks like it's definitely worth it based on the screenshots.

Stardew Valley!! (http://stardewvalley.net/) It's so fun, it's my relaxing game right now.

The story is that your grandfather left you this old farm and you quit your city job and move out to the valley. From there, you kinda play like you want, but you can either farm a lot, go digging in mines, fishing, and then you can build relationships with the towns people. There's a little magical twist too, so it has a little more of a story than, say, Minecraft, but it also lets you play in the world.

LOL those are two VERY different kinds of games, maybe you should get both so you can switch between the two ;-)

I keep trying to crack Shane but he's just constantly rude me to, except on his birthday...I think I gave him something shiny because I knew everyone liked shiny things.

Shane gets better when you know him more (I think I got him to 8 hearts on my first save? Something high). Never nice, but more okay.

I really wish we had better male options though...

I am an enabler and give Shane ALL THE BEER, so he loves me. I like scruffy boys BUT I AM LOYAL TO MY WIFE EVEN IF SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DO HER HOMEWORK (I knew she was still in school when I married her).

I never got any iridium in the regular mine, I had to go to the one in the desert to get any. I also never used any of the special attacks, I am lazy and cannot be bothered with that.

Some of the guys get better once you get to know them and find out why they act the way they do. Like Sam is overly perky because his dad was away at war, and Alex is a jock for reasons also. Haley is MUCH COOLER THAN I ANTICIPATED. I LOVE THIS GAAAAAAME.

I've got three, but that's mostly because I got lucky and a meteorite landed on my farm. Still not enough for anything useful.
