LOL. Well, that is depressing! I guess I was spoiled because I had this random friend of my uncle's that was my X-Files pen pal/email pal and gave me a place to channel my nerdyness before LJ and Tumblr were a thing ;-)

Do you remember a "senior skip day"? Was that always a thing? I never actually believed in it, thought that the kids at my school just made it up but everyone seems to say it happened to them (if they were in the U.S.)
