Just watched Bad Times at the El Royale and I don't really know what I just watched but I couldn't stop watching it so i think that means I liked it? There were a lot of layers there, things to "unpack" as people like to say. Commentary on people, beliefs, goals, our secret selves...

Or maybe not, maybe it was 141 minutes and the best thing was Hemsworth dancing without a shirt on, I really don't even know.

Anyone else?? Thoughts? What was this movie??

OMG Bad Times at the El Royale is SO GOOOD and totally blew me away! I wrote a thing about it here, but I didn't get into spoiler territory that much. I need to watch it again because like you said, there is a LOT to unpack. But yeah, I definitely loved it.

I can't stop thinking about it so that must be a good sign? Definitely go into it blind, knowing nothing (apart from Chris' existence) is the best way to watch.

I think I saw your post before and it reminded me it was Goddard because I had it on my hold list and I didn't really know why. Because that was all I knew about, Joss Alum. Definitely a movie that could be viewed as just a movie or one that someone could read a LOT into.
