Yeah, I sang in the musicals. I hated singing auditions--I really only wanted to do the shows for the dancing, and singing auditions were the hell I had to go through to get a dancing part. But I ended up having a minor role in 42nd Street and was mic'ed for it, so I must not be an AWFUL singer. ^_^

I think my dad was in "Forum" when he was in college--he absolutely loves that show. I've never seen it, though. We had to get approval from the Sisters to do our shows--they thought that Ado Annie from "Oklahoma!" was racy! I'm sure they almost died when Irene sang "Naughty Baby" in "Crazy For You." We always had to tone down some stuff so that we didn't offend anyone.
