Game of Thrones quick reaction post
SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT FOR TONIGHT'S EPISODE - JUST ONE QUESTION:
Did you watch his head go **squish** ??? Even with my eyes and ears covered, my stomach turned. Tim watched it and said it was pretty disgusting.
I'm so sad, I sorta liked Oberyn. Of course, it would have been cheesy to have the trial by battle work *again* for Tyrion.
Um, and wasn't Oberyn a prince of Dorn? I mean, I know he was like 3rd in line but...won't they be a bit upset that he is now dead? Maybe a little?
I hope Jamie and Tyrion make a break for it next week.
And what is Sansa up to??? I'm worried that she's not quite as clever as she thinks she is. She may have a plan in her mind and think she knows how evil men can be but...I'm worried that she might end up surprised.
Arya cracking up was the brightest spot in the whole episode. And considering she went into a giggle fit over the DEATH of her aunt is pretty much this entire show.
I was impressed that Bolton kept his promise to Ramsey. But, as he pointed out, there's a LOT of North to be ruled. I guess putting your crazy-ass bastard 700 miles away at least means you know he's loyal...if he does get bored and flay people every now and then.
Remember -- I have NOT read the books so please don't tell me anything that happens after this. I'm enjoying watching the show unfold.

I have no idea about Sansa, that plot is taking a slightly different tact from the one in the books.

I say that having no idea how the Trial By Combat thing went in the books, but I stand by that anyway. I've seen enough flailing on the part of book fans to know there have been some *ahem* Changes made, especially in this season.

And poor Jorah. :( I worried about him but only because I sorta love the actor.

I kinda liked Oberyn too. Ew I couldn't watch what happened to the head. Ew. Typical HBO showing the uncensored violence!

After Tim watched the scene I asked him if they showed it all and he said yes and I said "do you want some ketchup? or a tomato? maybe some jam?" -- I've learned that it's always safer to assume they are going to show it. Yuck.

I think Sansa might surprise us all...
