gee whiz, Fargo is a pretty good show, eh?

We're about 4 episodes into FX's FARGO miniseries (mini-series? single series? how do these one season shows even work?)

I wasn't sure what I thought of it at first but now it's starting to come together in a very weird way.

Billy Bob Thorton and Martin Freeman are, of course, awesome but I'm really REALLY in love with Allison Tolman as Molly. She's just so great. Colin Hanks is doing well too, though any time he gets upset, I still just hear his Dad doing Woody's voice in Toy Story...

Anyone else watch this show? I didn't really hear much about it until it was over and then a few people asked if I had watched it and when I said no, they zipped their lips and walked away! Such teases!

EDIT: oh wtf, there will be a second season but no Molly??? A-screw that! She's my favorite part!

I had thought about watching it when it debuted, but held off for some reasons. Though I'm now regretting not having watched it.

I agree with everything you said about Fargo! I wasn't sure about it to start, but as it got going, I was hooked! I ended up mainlining most of the season in like 2 days. It really starts cooking near the end.

Molly is amazing! I love that character so much!

I did not know there would be a second season though. I can't figure out how that's going to work O_o

Never got a chance to watch it but my Mom was watching it and liked it. I'll get around to it eventually.

Well they're changing the whole plot and stuff of Season 2, I don't even know how they'll keep the name. But should be interesting.

My mum absolutely loved this show. I never actually saw it but according to my mum at least it's the best show ever! :P

FARGO WAS AWESOME! Are they really making a new season? I mean, it wouldn't make sense to continue with the same characters, but ... I don't feel the show needs another season. It was so perfect the way it was.

I had my apprehensions about the show at first. I wasn't really feeling it, and I felt they forced the characteristics of the original characters from the film onto this new set of characters, and it felt really off. But it worked itself out after a couple of episodes. I'll definitely grab this for my collection when it's released on blu ray.

I had very similar apprehensions. I didn't understand why it should be a TV series and what the point was. But I'm almost enjoying the show more because of how much more time we get to spend with the characters.

I'm wondering if they are going to try the same schtick as American Horror Story, where it's same vibe but different setting? I only found out because I was looking up info on the actress playing Molly and it said she wasn't going to be in Season 2.

5 more eps to go!

The next season of Tru Detective will also be a brand new setting with a whole new cast, so this seems to be a thing now .... I guess.
