WHY is the Fallout Shelter game way more addictive on my PC than it was on my iPad???

We both downloaded this game and managed to lose several hours to it this weekend.

...it is kinda nice though, as I can play it while reading LJ, bounce back and forth to collect stuff.

If anyone needs a time sink, this is an easy one!

I also got sucked into Disney Emoji Blitz which is just like any other matching game, except that you earn the emojis for your keyboard. So now I can send people little Mickey Mouses when we are texting. And also a virtual churro.

Tim is still hooked on Alphabear, though I haven't played it in awhile. It is pretty much Boggle with adorable bears.

Someone mentioned the li.st app at our Social Media Committee meeting so, of course, I couldn't resist downloading that. It is addictive sitting and thinking of things I can make lists out of. Apparently it was created by B.J. Novak (he used to write for 'The Office'). Anyway, if you are on there, please friend me!

And thanks to pleasant_valley I am now on a search to collect all of the E.T. Funko Pops. I managed to get E.T. from Amazon with a gift card I had saved up, and I think I should be able to pick up Gertie and Elliot from Gamestop later this week. She warned me they were retired and eBay had some ridiculous prices, but I saw the local store had them in stock so I sent a hold request. SOON!

I also had enough points on my Discover card to get a free copy of 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' so I've been playing that a bit too. I love Lara Croft. I just feel like a kid again playing these games, even if they are shiny and new.

Of course, I have to leave it all behind soon. We travel to Wisconsin again this week for Tim's sister's wedding...it's a short trip, just going there, seeing the wedding, then coming home. As always, I am dreading the politics of that house. But I will just hide with Sylvia and Nicole and sing Weird Al songs to drown out the crazy.

And I have a buffer day when we return so I can play all my games and relax before going back to work!

Oh FUNKOS. I don't want to start collecting them until I've decided on a cool way to display them haha otherwise I know they'll just end up unloved and unseen in a box somewhere sad.

I don't remember even seeing that one, but I know I saw the Charlie Brown one around a lot toward the end of last year. I debated on getting my mom the whole set for Christmas, but then I had no clue what she'd do with a bunch of Funkos and got her a Halloween one in stead lol.

Ugh, that's just people being VERY greedy. I mean, I'm sure if you go to the Disney Park, it's maybe $15 (which is a lot but it is an exclusive). I don't know why they didn't make a regular line of Indiana Jones POPS, I would buy them all in a heartbeat!

GAH! Reading the comments on this blog (http://popvinyls.com/2016/07/22/indiana-jones-pop-vinyl-now/) looks like the scalpers bought them up. The website had them, but the "limit" was 10 per person. I'm sure all these eBay and Amazon sellers are behind it. Just makes me sad when people do that *just* to take advantage. I've sold my collectibles before, but it was usually things I thought I wanted, sat around for a few years, so I opted to sell them. Buying them just to sell them grosses me out.

I just don't like the fact they made 2 Indiana jones pops... One for SDCC and one for Disney parks... What about the people who can't go to either of these places? So unfair... I would understand if there was a 3rd version available around but nope... So annoying :( maybe one day this 3rd version will come out and we'll put our hands on it :)

I feel like I should do a post about Tomb Raider and Lara Croft...I mean, while she was all big bosomed and such, she was a big deal to me as a female gamer back in the day and I didn't even realize it (because I was a kid and you don't really quite think about that stuff yet...)

Once I get the E.T. Pops, they will be ready for a photoshoot!

I am compleeeeetely addicted to Disney Emoji Blitz. I've been playing Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes since January as my mobile game time sink of choice, but I've reached a point where the energy regeneration is too slow for how often I want to play it. DEB is just fast enough that I can mainline it for a few minutes, then come back to it in a few more and play again. It scratches that itch.

Plus, the emoji are awesome. :)

I got all excited about the Ursula Event. I was mainlining the game while trying to clear the path. I did that this morning, and now I'm feeling the post-endorphine letdown of having to go back to the vanilla game. XD But I have a Power 2 Ursula Emoji so...yay?
