We received a set of Google Expedition kits as part of a grant so I'm figuring out how they work. We have a school program in a couple weeks and the kids are studying South America so I was going to "take them" to Peru. It was very easy to set up and get going, thank goodness! Biggest job will be making sure all the tablets and phones are charged up.

Just a reminder to check out what is happening at your local public library! You might be surprised.

Neat! I was listening to an NPR discussion about satellite archaeology and they mentioned that Peru was the country that still had the most to discover through this form of research. So chances are there will be all sorts of interesting historical news in the coming decades.

Oooh I'll have to see if I can find that online and read up so I can tell the kids! Maybe we will inspire them to study archeology!
