This movie is SO GOOD! That "even the demons are polite!" is the real key, too. I noticed that rewatching the other two, even with the cringey, outdated humor in a couple places: they are just so nice to everyone they meet. The new movie really captured what make the first two special without getting stuck on nostalgia goggles, which is kind of a miracle when you think about it.
It really is! It's why I keep thinking about it! They didn't even stoop so low to make a "drop the soap" joke during the prison scene (something that even the children's series SKYLANDERS couldn't resist apparently??)
Tim revealed to me he had never seen 'Bogus Journey' so I have put a request on that so we can watch it. I always found Death to be so amusing LOL
Oh god, why is that joke everywhere?? Yeah, it's definitely time to retire that one. But you're right--this movie just made me happy!
From what I remember, Bogus Journey is the one that holds up the least well, but it is still a good time. Death is a great character! I feel like the movie really hits his stride when he shows up.
