I fell off the wagon....

I feel like an AA member that just broke down and went on a binge. But, instead of alcohol - it's Sims 2.

I had stopped playing that game awhile ago, when WoW and the Wii showed up. But the other day, I saw someone's pictures online of their Sims, and it made me wonder how my guys were doing. So I turned on the game and went to the college, and a bunch of my Sims had just graduated and were waiting for me to take them into Strangetown and let them start their adult Sim lives!

I could not deny them that!!!

So I just played Sims 2 for...well, far longer than I care to admit. Gotta get the hang of the controls again, so I'm only handling two Sims at once - Kat Curious and the grocery delivery guy she seduced while in college who is living with her now. So far so good - he's managed to get a job on the Business track. Kat is still waiting for that right job to show up on the Science track. Right now she's arranging flowers and painting pictures and selling them for extra cash.

And I realized I'm still paying for WoW, even though I haven't played in probably a month now. Just overdosed on it awhile back when I was trying to get Katchoo to 60 and haven't gone back in (I know it's been that long because jimithingy said all the cloth he sent Katchoo bounced back). I feel like I should play it, but I'm just not in the mood. It's silly.

I have both the Lego star wars games and love them! And they've announced a Lego Indiana Jones is in the works for next year!!! More cuteness!

I need to get the games, period. Next time I have extra cash floating around, I will buy them so I can buy the new add ons. I only have up until "Open for Business" :\

Your vamp is still walking around. None of my Sims have been bitten. I had to scale it down a bit since I hadn't played in so long. Back in the day I could handle a family of 8 all at once. Now I'm playing with my couples that are fresh out of college, trying to handle the two of them.

wearwolf/zombie? Is that in the new add ons? My Amazon wish list is getting ridiculous!

I do not have Sims 2 Pets :( This is why I need to buy the games, so I can get the add ons.

Got I hate that bitch. She kept getting into fights with people because she would cheer at them and they would tell her to fuck off and she would not LISTEN! *shudder*

Oh, and one of the chicks who dresses up as the Llama moved in with one of my graduated Sims and she shows up at parties in the Llama outfit...it's so disturbing. Especially when they make out. Llama style.

I forgot about the zombie thing! I have the phone all set up in one of the houses but no one has died yet. Soon though...sooooon!

I fail to see why NOT wanting to play a video game is silly..?

This coming from someone who just found out that I'm supposed to attend the video game curriculum planning meeting at my new job. Yeah, me. I need to gently suggest that I'm maybe not the right person for this. Unless the games involve falling shapes. I'm all about the falling shapes.

I probably shouldn't even be posting this publicly, but I mean, really. No one asked me in the interview if I liked video games!

Oh, let's pretend we live in a bad 80s movie - you go to the planning meeting, then tell us what they said, and then we'll plan it out for you and you pretend that you thought it up.
