Not only will the Beatles Rock Band game be out in September, but Apple Corps/EMI just announced they are putting out all of the Beatles' albums in a newly remastered collection. SCORE! I will be getting this.

In other news, FOX News fires a stupid person - no one is surprised or feels pity. What exactly did he think would happen???

Silent Hill is getting a remake, but it's only going to be on the PS2, PSP, and Wii...so I guess they are not going for the pretty. I never got around to playing the original SH so I will probably give this a try and freak myself out, like ya do.

My brother came over tonight, since he's on spring break this week. Being the wild and crazy people we are, we had a few drinks and played Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit (DVD Version). Yeah, you try saying "Isildur" when you're a lightweight like me. Or recalling the name of some random sword after you've just chugged a Bloody Mary made by AD. It was fun, but I have to say that the Trivial Pursuit DVDs are weak compared to Scene It. Wonder if there is another expansion pack for that game...

Last night I finally opened my "Amidala Fashion Doll Set" that I bought at Disneyworld. Let me tell you, they clearly did not make these for real children. First, everything is so TINY! Second, getting her head off was damn near impossible. I was so scared I was going to break her neck. Eventually, I got it to come apart and managed to shove her into the dress from the Naboo picnic but it took awhile. She's cute but I'm scared to change her outfits too much because of how difficult it is to change the heads.

And why is it that I actually went to bed early last night (12:30am) and slept the whole night, only to wake up more exhausted than I was the day before when I woke up after tossing and turning for hours????? Blurgh.

Ah well, time for a couple more "Big Bang Theory" episodes, then off to bed! Toodles!

Mmmm.... remastered.... *drool* Although I can't say I'm elated to have to buy a third Rock Band in two years. :P

I kind of dig that they've been re-releasing some old favourites on small formats though. I've been thinking about getting ChronoTrigger for my DS and reliving that fun. XD (Boyfriend has a PSP, but for some reason I just have not really gotten into it?)

yeah, well, the Fab 2 (and Yoko too) said they would rather have a full game of their own than just music tracks. PLUS they are releasing new instruments that will look like the Beatles' signature instruments of choice (but the old RB stuff will work too).

AD has ChronoTrigger on DS and appears to be loving it. I have a PSP and pretty much only play Lumines on it when we take road trips. I want to get the God of War game for it, as its the only other one that people say rocks the PSP. The brand new DS comes out soon, which means the "old" DSes will probably have a nice price drop. Unless you really feel the need to have a camera attached to your handheld gaming device...

Though, IMHO, no Rock Band set would be complete without a Weird Al collection...

Getting Amidala's head off...reminds me of my little brother getting appedages off my dolls when I was little.

They should do a Weird Al set, heck they just did a Spongebob set! (of course, you can just sing the wrong lyrics - I've sung "Rye or the Kaiser" instead of "Eye of the Tiger"...sure fire way to confuse your band members)

I'm always singing the Weird Al lyrics to the original songs. For so many of them (Rye or the Kaiser, Like a Surgeon, I Want a New Duck) I know the Weird Al lyrics so much better than the original.

Drives my husband crazy. But then that's part of my job...

LOL, there's a huge set of songs on Rock Band that I was all whiny "I don't know that one don't do that one" then it would come up and I would be like "oh wait, I know this...AS A POLKA!!!".
