Yes, it is a sad reminder because so many of the voices are just *this* much off that those of us that know them so well kind of flinch inside...still funny though.

Thanks to recent developments, I feel a bit more comfortable about LJing again. So I think I may start doing that. And how can you LJ constantly but wander around too much to IM? hmmm? pluss, U noe they's got teh IMer on fonez nao.
And NO. Statler and Waldorf are WAY off. I can do a better Waldorf, and would be willing to do so for lower pay, just so the butchering could stop!
now you've got me obsessing - we watched "Muppet Christmas Carol" and Statler and Waldorf were off there too...I guess no one can do it exactly like Jim Henson...and I think that's a good thing too.
Now to listen to the John Denver & The Muppets Christmas CD and hear the REAL kermit sing :)
