Me, logging on to Twitter and seeing ALL THE BANNED ACCOUNTS !!!!!





He tried to hijack the official POTUS account and his head of social media's account and then made a new one and they were just SUSPENDED! Also Rush Limbaugh was suspended.



okay, on that note, I'm going to bed, to dream of all these hate-mongering asshats being removed from social media.

My husband was in the same boat (I'm not on Twitter regularly). He laughed so much. And his best friend was retweeting hot takes from around the election from GOP bots and said he wanted to make a quilt out of them. It would be an amazing quilt.

For real though, it's WAY past time. The fact that it took "Wait, bad things are happening to us this time! Someone stop him!" to get any action whatsoever is not lost on me.

We had a patron call us at the library last week to tell us the mail was slow. I told him, yes, this all started earlier in the year with the budget cuts and the post office is suffering. His response? "Oh, I guess I heard about that, but I didn't think it was going to effect me."

That was THE most straight/white/male American thing I had ever heard. "I didn't think it was going to effect me."
