SPRING BREAK WOOT!

HUZZAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just submitted my final exam for INFO 503 and INFO 652! I AM DONE! done done done done done!

Well, for 2 weeks at least.

ooooooh that feels good. *dances*

I rewarded myself by installing Sims 2: Freetime and playing for 5 hours. So fun. My Sims are having a grand time. Except for the one that is flunking out of school. Not my fault a bug in the game made it impossible for me to pick up his homework. Ah well, you need Sim McDonald's employees, right?

Tomorrow, I'm going to a meeting with heiland_coo where we get to talk about how poorly put together the LATI program is and how we would make it better and why they should bow before our awesome Library Associate powers! Then after that I have a Staff Development Committee meeting at Headquarters where we will talk about how I've done nothing I was supposed to do because this past month has been beyond insane with a combo of weird crap at work and lots of homework.

Then after that its follow up with the doctor time. Yuck.

But at least I don't have to do HOMEWORK when I get home. :D

Congrats...hope you do well in all your classes...turned in my final stuff for all my classes, too....have a nice couple of weeks! What are you taking next quarter? I am in INFO 515, 511 and one other that I don't remember right now...well, talk to you later...bye

I really liked 511 even though it was a TON of work, it was a lot of stuff I was familiar with one some level.

I signed up for Young Adult Resources, Cataloging & Classification, and Managing Info Systems (the last of the core courses!). And I've managed to get all but one of them through Maryland libraries, and I've put out a search for the last one via ILL.

lack of a social life helps. ;) Actually, the key is doing it all in bits and pieces. For example, every monday I came home from work and read a lecture until 7:30 (with a break for dinner). At 7:30 I would play a video game for a couple hours, and then around 9pm I would stop and read another lecture or do an assignment. Same routine on Wednesday. I don't have to be at work until 12:30 on Tues/Thurs so I would wake up a little early and work on homework for a bit before going in. Anything I could do online I would print out and take with me to work for slow times at the desk. Friday/Saturday would be the "whatever I didn't get done, DO IT!" days. Sunday I would just chill, maybe look at the new assignments but not actually do anything and try to get my sanity back.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat for 10 weeks haha.

Seems to have gone okay, I got an "A" in two of the courses, and a "B" in my Systems Analysis course (i'm kicking myself though, there was a discussion board question on Finals Week and I didn't even notice it!!!! argh! Probably could have had an A :\ Oh well)
