tv thoughts - short and bitchy

Once Upon A Time:The Queen Is Dead

This was a good episode, but I felt like the "theme" overtook the actual purpose and our forward momentum stopped about halfway through. Well, at least in Storybrooke. I felt like the plotline taking place in Manhattan was moving right along. I love the tension building there was we try to figure out exactly what Rumplestiltskin will do to Henry (and what Emma will do to him when he makes a move toward "the kid").

But in Storybrooke...yeah, bit of a broken record. Gee, look Regina is up to no good, and Mary-Margaret is surprised? And though I was holding out hope that Regina was playing her mother, the end of this episode made me feel less like she was just pretending and more like she was foolish enough to think that Cora would ever be trustworthy.

The Walking Dead:I Ain't Judas

You know it's bad when you're watching the episode thinking "oh, Andrea is gonna die...yeah, this is totally it for her." Really, I thought at that final moment, when she was leaning over The Governor, that he was going to stab her first and end it all. Her and Regina need to start a club. That's about all I remember about that episode, just being SO annoyed with how naive Andrea STILL IS! Just ridiculous. When she was giving Michonne shit for leaving? UGH! Yeah...I just do not see her living through this season...but I said that last season.

Community:Alternative History of the German Invasion

I was bracing myself for this episode to be really bad because one of my friends posted on my facebook a "how bad was that?" comment right after it aired. But, honestly, while it wasn't the best episode ever, I think I still liked it more than the premiere episode. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't good. Mediocre at best. But I feel like sometimes it takes for this show to get going anyway...or maybe it has the same curse as Star Trek where only odd numbered seasons are awesome...!

I have to say I LOVED The end where we saw everyone else in the college trying to access the study room over the past 3 years. But the rest of the episode was just okay. Had some giggle but no true LOLs

I was kind of hoping he would wake up and kill her...or at least maim her a little. She has gotten on my last nerve this season.

I'm wondering if there are not enough women writers on that staff, I feel like they have a hard time creating female characters I don't want to throttle. Maggie is the only one, and even she has had her moments.

They definitely seem to have more men writers on staff. I hadn't really thought about it too much, but yeah, they've had a lot of trouble with their female characters. Though I think they're getting a little better.

Talking about OUAT, don't you agree with me about Neal being Peter Pan? ^_^

YES! OMG I hope that is true, it would be so brilliant. I didn't even think of it. :)

I want to believe that Regina is basically just turning evil. She has nothing to lose and Henry is basically willing to forgive her on anything.

I just don't see him forgiving her for murdering his family...but I guess Cora will just wipe his memory, that is the "plan". I have a feeling they are going to drag this out until the finale, and only then will Regina finally pull a Darth Vader and throw Cora into the reactor...or whatever is available in Storybrooke...I guess the well?

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ANDREA.

That's really all I have to say about that. LOL

[identity profile] orangerful.livejournal.com 2013-03-10 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
You don't need to say anymore. :)

Last season was "Goddammit, Carl." This season is "GODFUCKINGDAMMIT, ANDREA."

And here I thought no one could top Carl and his ability to disappear/fuck things up.

If she lives through all this I am going to be AMAZED. She is too dumb to live in the zombie apocalypse. Too. Fucking. Dumb.

AGREED! Even Carl has gotten his shit together a bit more, it's like Andrea's IQ is plummeting. I have a bad feeling this show does not have enough female writers on staff and our female characters are suffering for it. I hope Maggie isn't next!
