Jo Chen owns my soul, her comic book covers are just gorgeous. Why anyone would bother with the variant covers is beyond me. I want to frame all of her covers!!!

Warren Ellis and Paul Duffield are creating an online comic. I clicked the link that he posted and for some odd reason it took me to MySpace...but now I found the blog and it's actually hosted by Wordpress. Very confusing.

Joss answered some questions for MySpace comics. The video is odd, as it appears he might have just recorded the whole thing himself on a home video camera (really bad sound).

heiland_coo and I were both at the desk, fresh off of watching 'Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered'. She asked if she could request a Buffy DVD.
It came out of nowhere. She couldn't have known. But the fangirling began. Slowly. I quickly assessed how much of a fan she was.heiland_coo ran for cover, pretending to look for a copy of 'Fray' while I began to giggle about 'Spin the Bottle' Wesley and 'Dancing Angel'.
Some how the patron survived, managed to put Season 5 on hold (outside the county, we sadly do not carry TV shows...except Brit coms...and Henson's Dinosaurs...). We'll see if she is brave enough to come back since she said she might want season 2 to relive the magic/evil of Angelus.
AND speaking of fangirling - why had no one alerted me to this!!!!
I'm pondering purchasing some comic book frames. I feel the need to put my Star Wars CIII poster away. Which will leave a HUGE amount of wall space open. I was thinking of hanging up the season 8 Buffy comic or (asjimithingy just suggested) maybe the entire set of 'Serenity' comics. (I'm still missing one!!! The 'Simon' cover! I should check the ol' ebay and see if I can find that last one...Oooh Cinequest has it for $3.99...hm....)

I just spent far too much time playing with this. It's called "Pennypacker" and it's an extension for Firefox that lets you label Penny Arcade comic strips as "favorites" and also tag them. Since I just read 'Attack of the Bacon Robots" earlier this week, and now I'm starting "Epic Legends of the Magic Sword Kings", a lot of the older strips were fresh in my mind, so I tried to find them to add to my favorites. And then I fav'd a few I could remember from recent years.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to share my favorites list. I'm hoping they'll email me a link or something...
