Lost is just getting ridiculously frustrating. The writing is just ridiculous. At the start of this episode, I thought I saw a glimmer of hope, but no, it was just a cruel cruel joke...

Clearly, I am no longer watching these shows in the right mind-set. I just can't take them seriously because the writing has been so "meh" this season. You can see they have a grand plan for ONE episode, so they spend 3-4 trying to GET to that episode. Next week's better be good!!!!

(also I appear to have lost the ability to remember anyone but the main character's names...)

I totally forgot to post something about this - I finally watched the season finale of 'Lost'.

And...so...yeah...

I had honestly forgot about it. I had a ton of stuff on my DVR, I was working through last season of 'House' (which I'm actually really enjoying!). I watched 'Lost' because we were going over to my parents on the 4th of July and I knew my mom wanted to talk about it.

Why does no one on that show answer questions? NO ONE! They all pull the same crap, they sound like parents of unruly children - "Do this because I said so" "because you're not supposed to" "because it's wrong". No actual explanation, just "do it".

We'll be heading over to the 'rents soon to hang out and then eat their food. I hope everyone gets something yummy today - chocolate or peeps or whatever your fancy.

In other news - this made me smile: Unshelved's reader advisory comic for today is one of my favorites - Global Frequency! And I know the library owns it because I made them buy it last year. I'm going to have to check next week and see if it has a holds list, bwahahaha!

Also, I was bored last night and watched 'Lost'. It was...yeah.

'lost'. What can I say? I'm finding it hard to care anymore. Tonight's episode was just so painfully boring. Ditch the flashbacks, just flashing between the Others group and the main group is enough now. The flashbacks have gone from giving me character info to making me not like the characters anymore.

omfg, this Lost puzzle is insanely hard. I have #2, "The Others", which I got for christmas. I've been working on it for 3 days now. 2 days I avoided temptation and worked on it without knowing what the completed project would look like. You see, to avoid giving away any "secrets", they didn't put a picture of what the finished puzzle looked like on or in the box. So I have 1000 pieces and only a bit of an idea what I should be looking for.

Now I'm googling like a mad-woman trying to find pictures. It's helped a little. I've managed to get a few chunks where they need to be but geez louise. I want to just pack it back into the box but I feel like I should finish it and be done with it forever. From what I've heard, it has absolutely no new information, though apparently the back glows in the dark with part of the image that was on the inside of the hatch (collect all 4 to complete the image! I don't think so.)

I will finish this damn puzzle. We need our table back!!!
