today's questions
Apr. 4th, 2014 07:32 pmI had the brilliant idea to do my entry at work last night and then I couldn't get livejournal to work on our backroom computers. Best laid plans, yeah? Then I got home and ate too much pizza and died. Sad story but true. I think Tim is a bad eating influence on me as he manages to eat SO much more than me and not feel as icky afterwards so I keep eating and then I'm like OMG WHY DID I DO THAT?!
thekaiserchief asked what are some of your favorite CDs and why? -- That is a tough question! Here are the first few that pop into my mind:
The Beatles - Hard Day's Night -- I love every single song on here, plus it has "If I Fell" my all time favorite Beatles song.
John Mayer - Continuum -- despite my love/hate relationship with Mayer, the bastard can play guitar and every track on this album is solid.
Panic! at the Disco - Vices & Virtues -- the album that turned me into a fan, always on my "most played" list on iTunes. SO much fun to sing these songs at the top of my lungs.
Paramore - Brand New Eyes -- First Paramore album that came out that I bought so it got the most play as an album vs singles so I have a soft spot for it.
Sting - Ten Summoner's Tales -- My Mom is a Sting fan and I grew up listening to his albums and I totally bought them all on CD after I moved out. This is still his best one.
pleasant_valley asked What was your favorite toy as a child? -- This is a tough one too! Probably better to ask my Mom rather than me LOL. I'm gonna say my Star Wars action figures got a LOT of play time, so much that Princess Leia's head fell off at some point :( I also was famous for going outside with my basket and a dog that my Mom crocheted for me and playing Wizard of Oz. I always had a pile of stuffed toys on my bed - I was the kid who would fall out of bed because I was trying to make space for my toys to sleep. I do still have my Roger Rabbit doll because I loved that movie and I've loved my little talking Roger, even after his pull string busted.
The Beatles - Hard Day's Night -- I love every single song on here, plus it has "If I Fell" my all time favorite Beatles song.
John Mayer - Continuum -- despite my love/hate relationship with Mayer, the bastard can play guitar and every track on this album is solid.

Date: 2014-04-05 03:32 am (UTC)I didn't buy the latest album, but I think I have all of them before that. Wasn't thrilled with "Battle Studies" but I really liked "Born and Raised". But Continuum is my favorite so far. Just love all that guitar work.

It's kind of a different sound than his other stuff, and is not really the type of music I usually listen to, but it's my favorite of his along with "Heavier Things."
