They've made SIX. The other two are spinoffs. (Why do I know these things? WHY?)
Funny thing: this one does have a cat, and it's only one in the cast who doesn't die. And I made an interesting observation regarding cats in horror movies--they're much more likely to survive the ordeal than dogs. Dogs have this instinct to protect and defend the Pack, as it were, and wind up in the line of fire because of it. Cats, though? They're more like, "Nope, you people are not worth one of my lives. BYE!" And just leave. So most of the time, they're fine.
