I always just imagine that all superhero stories take place in a universe where everyone is much more resistant to blunt force trauma, and they all really are fine later. I mean, superpowers exist, might as well assume that everyone has this small superpower... it allows me to stop worrying about how little sense it would otherwise make, haha.
