We watched "The Gift" today, the final episode of Buffy season 5. AD actually *asked* to watch it. Really! Anyhoo, man is that FULL of foreshadowing for season 6. Buffy even says a line that Dawn will repeat in the musical episode to her. We also saw Angel's dragon fly out of the hell dimension. It was at quite a serious moment though, so we both resisted the temptation to scream out "ANGEL'S DRAGON!" while Buffy is giving her whole "I'm gonna jump into a portal and die to save your sorry ass, Dawn" speech. Still, a good episode. I got a little teary eyed, but it's hard to be sad when the season 6 box set is sitting right next to the DVD player. hehe.

I started to play Starcraft today. Vincent and Adrian are always telling me what a great game it is, so I figured I'd learn it so we could play together. I'm about 5 stages in to the tutorial for the Terran race. It's fun. I'm enjoying it.

Oh, yeah, and I made some more icons!

ah starcraft...kind of a cookie cutter game..but it's alright..i grew tired with the scenerio missions though...sometimes they tended to drag on and on.

overall...decent game...not very much replay value...haven't touched it since i beat it

Vincent and AD mostly do online battles, I think that's where the game is at it's best. AD said the computer AI is pretty crappy.

My brother is obsessed with Starcraft. He has every single kind of extension, boost pack, bonus downloads, whatever. That is his GAME. I think Terran is the race he hates the most. He's a hard core Protos fan. That's pretty much his favorite race. They get to do the coolest stuff. Also, listen in the game for quotes from Guns 'N Roses: "remember to Use Your Illusion" and Aliens: "Heading in for a 709er." "We're in the pipe, 5-5-5." There are some other movie quotes in there too, but I can't really remember them.

I've definately heard a few Star Wars lines thrown in (someone called me men "Rebel Scum"). The "Gunes & Roses" quotes went right over my head though, as I only know a few songs by them. The music on the game sounds like 80s stuff haha. I had to turn it off though cuz it was driving me nuts.
