Okay, starting the serious habits today!

  • Did my Duolingo Spanish for 20 minutes (I have a 180 day streak on that)
  • Practiced guitar using the Yousician app. I've had the guitar for over a year and done nothing so if I can do 10 minutes a day, that would be GREAT. And that is all the free version gives you. If I can maintain a streak for a couple months, I think I will pay for the full version. But right now I'm just testing the waters...and my commitment.
  • Rode the exercise bike for 20 minutes. Want to do this at least 3 times a week. Rewatching The Expanse on my iPad while I ride so that is good motivation!

Hoping I can keep this up all year. We shall see. I'm also thinking about hooking up the KINECT again to the Xbox 360 (my Xbox One Kinect appears to have died) and doing my Dance Central work outs. I loved doing those. Might be a nice change of pace to the bike too.

I also signed up for a bunch of icon making communities because I want to get back into that hobby. It was a lot of fun. I don't have Adobe Photoshop anymore because I've upgraded computers and the one I had on my old PC wasn't exactly totally completely legit...but I downloaded GIMP so I'm going to try to figure that out. I've heard it is a good alternative, just a little bit tricky to understand if you're coming from PS.

And now one last good habit - getting my butt in bed before 11:30 on work nights!
