Let me tell you how it all started, because I had a clear indication of things at 4:30am this morning.
I was having this dream that I was babysitting Skylor and Snowden, but we were in a house more like my parents house. The kids and I were downstairs and Monica was upstairs. Now, my parents had an intercom system set up in our house, so that I could be down in the playroom and my mom could buzz me for dinner/chores etc. In my dream, Skylor and I were downstairs having a conversation and Monica said something into the intercom. I didn't understand what she said since I was talking to Sky, so I turne around, pressed the button down, and yelled "SAY AGAIN!"
Only problem is, I actually yelled it. In fact, I yelled so loud I woke AD & myself up. Then, I had a giggling fit for about 10 minutes because the situation was so ridiculous. In fact, we're still laughing about it right now. I will probably never live it down. (It's a Zline trait though, as I know my dad has done it a bunch of times.)
Anyway, the rest of the day was long. I babysat as per usual, took the kiddos to the Eastport library to keep them occupied, then rushed back to drop them off so I could get to West County library on time. It was pretty steady tonight at West County, probably the busiest I've been while there. Then again, I seem to end up in the Children's desk alot, so being at the adult info desk at night is a big difference. Found out Perri watched "Firefly". She is so cool, probably one of my favorite library ladies. Wish she was scheduled at the desk with me more.
I'm so happy it's the weekend. I work tomorrow and Saturday at west county but they are both done by 5, so I have time to myself. I sorta said I'd go to Snowden's birthday party on Sunday, but that doesn't start until 3, so I can sleep in that day, yay! I need to buy her a gift. Monica gave me some clothes she bought at goodwill to give to Snowden, but I refuse to just give clothes, as I hate getting clothes. I really want to get her some star wars toys...but I might just look for My Little Pony stuff. Girl only has 2 ponies! I'm pondering buying ponies as a birthday gift for her, then coming in next week with star wars toys for her and skylor. I need to find out how much the new kid-friendly figures cost at K-Mart.
I need to get to bed! 11-5 shift tomorrow. Plus, I want to read a bit more of "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister". So far, so good, I already like it better than "Mirror Mirror". Terri pointed out that it was made into a TV-movie a few years back. I looked it up on imdb and found out that the girl who played Cassie Newton on BtVS season 7 ("Help" and "conversations...") played Iris. Not out on DVD though, so I can't watch it. Ah well.
