big letdown

destertale posted about finding lightsaber spoons in her Frosted Flakes, we went to Giant today to stock up - AND THEY HAD NOTHING! Argh. I'll have to send my mom on recon to check out the stores by her. Need the mini M&Ms too.
On the plus side, my Celebration III goodies came today, so we are not all set to go. I have my little fan club lanyard to wear, and a badass Darth Vader badge. Oh yes. I will be so cool. haha. Joining the DC Star Wars Collector's Club has really made me giddy. Everyone there is so psyched for the release of the movie and the toys. I now know the street date of the new RotS line is April 2nd, so I'll have to raid Wal-Mart and Target that morning before we go help move Al & Jules.
I've decided my "collecting focus", as they call it, is probably Yoda figures. I have a Yoda from each line, no matter what. Except the Playskool Yoda, I can't find him anywhere (well, I found him once and gave him to my mom for Xmas). So if anyone ever see the Galactic Heroes Yoda (I think he comes with a clone trooper) snatch him up for me and I'll pay you back.
Speaking of Galactic Heroes - look at these cuties coming out later this year:
MINI KIT FISTO!! (actually already have mace, darth, obi, lando & the skiff guard, but I need mini-Kit!!!)
the next Yoda I need That's the Darth Vader that I bought Snowden right there. I'm not big on this line, but I have to have that Yoda, he's adorable!
There have also been sightings of a new talking Yoda doll at Suncoast, but he's like $40. Perhaps I'll wait and see if Toys R Us gets him in April.
I'm so addicted to Sims 2 right now, it's not even funny. I spent all day playing. ALL DAY! Except for a short lunch/LotR break, but I didn't watch the whole movie, just enough to eat and fold clothes...then it was Sim time. why WHY is it so addictive!!!
