so not cool (again)

orangerfulomg, I just hit back on the browser and lost my entire entry. I shall try to recapture the mood:
I just did a search for Puppet Angel, as I really want to order one. I ended up on the Entertainment Earth site and it said "Pre-Order SOld Out Shipping April 2005". So I clicked on that and it said that they only made 5000 pieces and they are all gone. ALL GONE. So I went to ebay, and guess what, people are selling theirs already. WHY WHY WHY why are people so mean as to pre-order an item just to immediately turn around and re-sell it!!! There should be a rule. Some people don't even have theirs yet. There's one with a starting bid of $8.88, which I'm tempted to watch. Though the box is so big, shipping will be $10+....the last one just went for $65+shipping. *sigh* I really wanted one too.
In other news, I suddenly have allergies. I swear, I've never had them before in my life, and now today I'm all scratchy throated, puffy eyed and sniffly and sneezing. Ugh. I don't have any drugs either, so I'm just suffering until 9pm.
All in all, I think the interview went well. I was going to wear my suit, but it was so hot outside that I just ended up leaving the jacket in the car. I tried to keep the nervous giggling to a minimum, though I caught myself mid-giggle a few times.
Storytime should be starting any minute now...don't see a whole lotta kids though. The weather today was beautiful, so hopefully they all played outside and are now too tired to come. It was up in the 80s! I went to dairy queen for lunch and had a hot dog and a Reeses Pieces Blizzard. So yummy.
