orangerfulWe saw "Sin City" last night. I really enjoyed it. Was a teensy bit long, but that seems to something of a Robert Rodriquez trademark. I always enjoy his movies but I'm usually getting restless by the last 20 minutes. But I really liked the movie. Very cool. Very violent though, even in black and white it's icky, so if you are going to see it in the theater, but prepared.
Finished my taxes yesterday and mailing them today...soon as I get stamps, which I plan to do on the way to work. Feds owe me money, I owe Maryland money. Not too shocking, my parents looked over the forms, and I did end up owing less than I had originally thought (apparently you get an exemption for just existing...who knew?). So, hopefully I did everything right and I'll get a nice refund check later this year.

zaubervz yesterday. The original mission was to see if they had any of the new RotS models, because the Jedi Starfighter looks pretty sweet, and I haven't done a model in aaaaages. According to the hobby shop guy, the models are not out yet. So we wandered over to Toys R Us and ended up snatching up a tin of trading cards. zaubervz went thru mine for me and took out the spoiler-ific images. I don't want to spoil the film any more than I already have. I do love trading cards though, and the tins are perfect for holding action figure accessories. I think I might get one more tin later on, perhaps the Vader-centric one. (I got the one with Obi/Ani dueling). Also picked upa little "battle buddy" Yoda. he's so cute! Only $5 so what the heck!
Rumor is now that RotS will be onsale sometime after 4/20. So, guess what day we leave for C3? *sigh* Maybe...just maybe it will take a week for theaters to book their times. I hope the whole thing about the Senator theater not getting RotS is just a fib to keep people from camping out now. It would be so wrong not to see it at The Senator. Also, from the rumor mill (get readypersephones_rev), Hayden *might* be appearing at C3. It was unofficially leaked by Steven Sansweet in an interview last week in Indianapolis about setting up for C3. I saw him at C2, but that was before AotC even came out, so he wasn't really anybody yet. It would be cool if he was there though. Trying not to get my hopes up just in case it's all a big fat lie haha.
Oh, and we got our lease renewal form today. I think we're gonna have to move. The rent is going up another $100...wtf! Our apartment isn't getting any bigger or newer, why is the rent going up? Grrrrrrr. So now I think we might be moving. Dunno where, someplace more affordable, or if it's going to be $900 rent, at least nicer than this place. *le sigh* Time to start shopping around I guess.
Working at the Linthicum branch from 5-9 tonight. 4 short hours, shouldn't be so bad. Tomorrow I have the 8 hour evening shift at Crofton. Now, I think I might go make some icons or get my Sim 2 on. toodles!
