I played far too much Sims 2 today. But I'm having lots of fun! Ophelia popped out her first baby! Doesn't look a think like Johnny though...I mean, she's black, he's green, I thought the kid would be purple. Ah well. Still adorable. Since her name is Ophelia, I named the kid Hamlet (and I'm not even in Veronaville). Hamlet just became a kid, so Ophelia is about to have another baby. Johnny made detective so he's gotta be getting close to the top of the carreer. Their last party sucked though, it was a swingin' time up until the last 20 seconds, then everyone quit dancing, Ophelia had to pee, and Hamlet tried to hug somebody he didn't know very well. Plus, he turned into a kid before I had the chance to blow on the birthday candles so there went my big party event!

I actually made some icons today! I can't show you half of them, but here are a few I made with scans from my star wars toys and trading cards....and one random Sin City one of Miho cuz she rocks.

And I hear you on the Sims skincolor thing...for experimentation's sake, I made a family with a husband with the darkest skin tone and a wife with the lightest. So far, most of their kids have been medium shades. But man, was it ever amusing when she gave birth to twins and one of them was medium while the other was dark.

hahaha, the twins thing is great. I just started playing the "Curious" family, and Pascal just had a baby alien girl, and his brother Vicund just got impregnated haha. I'm so going to experiment with how their children look, since the little girl has very alien eyes. Is there some sort of trick to getting abducted or does it really just happen by chance?

Vicund wanted to make a zombie the other day, have you ever done that?

Heh, Pascal had a girl in my version as well...I named her Astra. Pascal's Joined to Nervous Subject or whatever his name is (well, techinically his name is Nervous Curious now). And Vicund had twin alien boys...named Castor and Pollux. I shouldn't be allowed to name the sims babies anymore, I swear. As far as I know, abduction is pretty much random, but I heard somewhere there's a cheat you can use to make it happen.

Never seen the zombie thing before, no O_o;; If you click on the Want, it gives a mini-description and sometimes tells you how to achieve it.

yeah, I clicked on the zombie thing and the Sim needs to have a paranormal job so you can get a phone that calls death, then you just have to be cheap when you pay death off. Blah. I don't have anyone on the paranormal track at the moment.

Nervous and Pascal? I thought they were related!! Hm. I'll have to check. That's crazy. I was thinking about trying to get one of the boys hooked up, but they never seem to hit it off with anyone, and with two little girls running around the house, it's hard to invite people over. haha.

My names are not much better - since the girls were aliens, I did Star Wars names, so it's Luminara and Shaak Ti.

Paranormal career? Does that come with the University expansion pack? Because I've never had anything about that career pop up in my game.

why thank you! I checked out the comic book about Aayla growing up, but I was afraid to scan it because the binding on graphic novels is so fragile, I didn't want to take it back to the library in two pieces. I need to see if anyone has posted pics of it, because Aayla is just so cool haha.

My brother bought 20 packs of cards the other day, he is so spoiled for the film now. I'm trying to hold out until after May 19. Then I'm just gonna go nuts and buy another tin or two.

ooooooh yes, that's Sims University. You get a handful of new carreers, none of which I've actually done yet.

Crystal Vu married Ford Prefect, one of my homemade sims, and they have a son named Zaphod. Oh, and Nervous is related to Ophelia, and the Curious boys are related to Jenny Smith. So confusing! haha.

Seriously! Those cards even 'spoiled' me a bit more than I already was! I couldn't believe all that I learned simply through the cards. But, you know, I couldn't find a tin of them at TRU... they only had the individual packs. My town totally sucks in the SW merchandise dept. :( *snickers*
