Burn baby burn!
Dec. 2nd, 2002 12:48 amMan, we did a marathon Xbox gaming last night since I ignored poor buffy all weekend to play the Sims. Which is silly cuz i have Sims at home but no Buffy. So AD let me play for like 2 hours. Silly game. It cheats! I was so close to killing the boss guy for the level at the school. But he turned into a tiger and ate buffy. Not very nice.
Traffic today was HORRID! That wouldn't have bothered me so much but I thought they were re-running Smallville at 5pm so I was trying to get home. (Turns out our WB station decided not to run it again cuz they ran some lame movie instead and went right into Gilmore Girls). On top of that, my phone died so I couldn't call to ask someone to tape my non-existent smallville. And of course, Academy-"I'm so dumb I forgot to plug in your battery"-Ford said nothing was wrong with my cigarette lighter and refused to replace it so I couldn't plug my charger in cuz IT DOESN"T WORK! And right when it seemed that traffic would drive me totally insane, my CD player jammed! It would not give the Rockwell Church CD back to me! So i fought with it and almost ran into about 5 people screwing around. Got it out and listened to 103.1 WRNR the rest of the way home, swearing under my breath between songs.
I need a job. And an apartment further north. This constant driving is....well, driving me nuts! And I need to have my own space. Or at least, less space associated with my parents. God, I hope this is my last semester. As afraid of the real world as I am, I am just so tired of school life. I think I would function better in some sort of job setting vs all these damn classes. Plus UMBC has run out of interesting courses. I love to learn but I don't want to do all those damn papers.
*sigh* what is a decent price for an apartment? I was just looking at apartments.com and i have no idea what to say I can afford. I need a job first I suppose. Wonder how i find one.
I should go to bed, I'm on a whacko schedule...which wouldn't be bad if i didn't have to meet with my honors college advisor tomorrow at 12:30 and feign interest in his comments. Blah to that.
toodles all.
