that was fun

Went to the RC show at Jammin Java. Good Times. Nathan and Joti seemed a bit spacey at the start of the set, but they got into the swing of things quickly. Snagged two CDs for WRNR's catalog, so they BETTER play them on homegrown music ASAP. On the way home it poured rain. Well, I drove into the clouds. So I was asking for it. 495 was horrible, felt like it was flooding it came down so fast. But everyone was freaking, so we all slowed down.

So we were supposed to be apartment searching this week but all that got shot to hell cuz Adrian is sick. Damn kids, all they do is break stuff and carry germs. This is why dogs and cats make better companions. Does one catch a cold from their cat? I THINK NOT!

Jeff just called me a dork because I read Simpsons and Philosphy, but had to stop to read Harry Potter....and now Buffy and Philosphy is in that same piles of "to read books"....my god, he's right, I AM A DORK!

hehe, that made me think of the wedding singer...when he has that fight with Julia and she throws her present at him, the blank sheet music she had made for him...haha..."She made me a present! I am an asshole!"

THE SUN gave Seabiscuit 4 stars!!!! that is the most it could get!!! I'm so happy!! I was worried yesterday, because a friend of mine at the library was reading "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" - another Non-fiction book that was fantastic to read. But the movie STUNK! even with John Cusack and Kevin Spacey in the lead roles, the movie was a terrible re-telling of the basic plot of the book. But it looks like the Seabiscuit people had all the right moves.

Must see it friday. MUST!

Nothing gets my blood boiling...

like Toby Keith. He's on the cover of Bruce's Country Weekly...it says "Fight to the Finish" and has him and Natalie's big ol' faces pasted on there. I can't believe they are still hung up on all this. Pictures of lots of ignorant people inside the magazine too. Grrr. Natalie could whip Toby Keith any day. He's all talk, you just know it. Nat has a tatoo and she's part trailer trash...he'd be on the ground and hog tied before you can say "I wanna talk about me". Grrr.

Otherwise, I'm surviving. Doing a remote right now...well bruce is doing the remote and spacing on me too. I'm here pushing buttons which is always fun. :-)

No word from Adrian yet, which makes me very very nervous. I hope he's okay. Next week is insane already, 2 remotes on Tuesday and Thursday, which means I need to get off of work at the library.

My tummy is rumbling. guess that subway bmt wasn't enough. It tasted funky anyway.

hm...i'm gonna sit here and fret about lack of AD-ness and wait for bruce to call back. Only half an hour left anyhoo.
