the phone rang!

Library called today and I have an interview next Tuesday at 2:30!! How sweet is that. I was begining to think they had forgotten about me and I wasn't good enough for the cut, but no, they just didn't get to me until today, yay!
I ordered some DVDs from borders...well, I asked them to pull them off the shelves for me, but one of them is in Columbia and the other is in Annapolis...why can't they BOTH be in Annapolis. Says they will hold them for 3 days, I'm trying to decide if I want either of them that badly. (cuz we know I don't have enough DVDs as it is).
I rented "The Ladykillers" from Netflix, which I'll probably watch tonight. Gotta see the original, ya know? Alec Guiness, Peter Sellers - it has to be good! Bernie Mac is on tonight too, which I keep forgetting cuz they just moved it there last week.
FOX cancelled Wonderfalls, which sucks cuz both Adrian and I were really into that show. I feel really bad for the exec producer, he's the same guy who worked with Joss Whedon on Firefly (also cancelled by FOX mid-half-season) and on Angel (cancelled by WB this season). Poor Tim Minear. What really blows is that 20th Century Fox paid for/produced 13 episodes, but they are actually pulling it from the air after only running 5 and have no plans to run the rest. Minear even created the 13 as one story arc (he had been bitten before) so at the end of 13, it would have at least felt like the end of the series (unlike poor firefly which ends wtih one of the most interesting and artistic episodes...making you yearn for more every second....*sigh* just gotta make it to the movie in 2005)
Okay, enough of that rant. I'm home from babysitting all day and I want to have some fun! Let's break out the Silent Hill while it's still daylight out!
