Oct. 26th, 2004 12:18 amall I wanted was a bag of freakin popcorn. First bag, I burned. I was about 5 seconds off. So the second bag, I think, hm, maybe it wouldn't burn so bad if it was on a plate. So I put it in and it won't pop...it starts to pop finally but there are only 15 seconds left. AD says "press the minute button" and it adds more time on for me, so I sit there listening for the pops when BAM! the plate explodes. Yes folks, it's official, I'm so cooking-challenged I can't even POP POPCORN!!!!!!!!! Needless to say I was pissed, not only did I not get my popcorn, I destroyed a plate and almost wrecked our microwave. And you wonder why AD gets nervous when I try to cook.
Attempted to style my hair today (I got a hair cut on Saturday, the flippy style I had been contemplating). Turned out pretty well, though I applied the "product" in the wrong order. Turns out you're supposed to put that stuff in BEFORE you blow dry. Ah well, it still looked alright thought my bangs were solid as rocks when I left for work. I'll get the hang of it eventually.
Working at Broadneck tomorrow after I babysit. My last 3 hours at circulation, then I'll be training at the info desk! Exciting stuff.

starwars_stills this week! That's pretty awesome. And you can see that I finally added a new icon to the 3-pack. Took ol' Spike down for awhile. Maybe I'll be able to afford the $25/year and I can upgrade my account.
I still need to order Rockwell Church tickets. That's gonna be nuts, as I dunno when I'm gonna get outta work. Hopefully I can send AD & Al ahead and they can save me a seat. That would be nice *HINT HINT*. Jem is playing in Annapolis on Saturday but i have to work and no one can come in for me. Blah. Not fair.

zaubervz sent me a link to a website that makes desktop countdown clocks....so now I have a countdown clock for Ep III and the Firefly movie. 204 days, 23 hours and 41 minutes until Darth is in the hiz-ouse!
