Aaaaah, a day with no work. How nice! I woke up this morning feeling refreshed. I decided I would work out to Buffy, as i haven't done that in ages and I feel the need to get in shape before the holidays hit. But when I started to ride my bike, my knees felt weird, so I decided not to push it. Still sore from standing at work all weekend. I tried to do some crunches, but I couldn't figure out how to use the little crunch thingy that I stole from Doc. Have to ask AD for help with that.

Then it was off to the dentist for a cleaning. Apparently I have 2 cavities and one of my old fillings is cracked, so I have to go back next week to get that fixed up. I thought fillings were supposed to last your whole life? Shoddy craftsmanship there, Dr Weinrebb. That man is weird - when I first started going there he was bald and clean shaven. now he has a rug and a mustache. Dunno what that is about. All he ever remembers about me is that I like the Beatles. It's interesting what sticks with people.

After that bit of fun, I ran into the comic shop to look for Angel Season 5 cards, but alas, no, they are not getting them. Then I ran into Toys R Us and found Dagobah Luke! He's got his little backpack ready to carry around Yoda. I haven't set him up yet, but when I do I'll post a photo cuz he's just cool. Ran in to Hechts to see if they had any flat shoes but nope. I'm gonna take my boots back to annapolis and see if they have the next size up cuz I think these will be too tight on my feet when they are swollen after standing all day, and I'll probably wear them to work in at some point.

Had the freakest dream I've had in awhile today. I think it was a mix of LotR being on TV, checking out LOST icons, and my insanity in general. Nathan from Rockwell Church was convinced I stole his car keys and we had this big argument over how the heck I could have his car keys if he is the one that drove to my house. And for some reason Howie was lounging on the deck, and I talked with him, but not after nagging him for the whole rape charges thing. And while I was talking to him, Dominic Managhan (sp?) was in the kitchen and I leaned in to tell him I has something to show him and not to wander off. Then after I was done talking to Howie, I picked up Dom (apparently he was hobbit sized) and ran down the hall to where I thought the computer should be. I wanted to show him the LOST icons. But for some reason, the computer was in pieces. In fact, to get it to work I had to unpack the keyboard, plug it into the computer then plug the computer into a video camera then wire that to the TV. I did that but then the TV wouldn't turn on. Then Dom's band from LOST came out to play some Rockwell Church songs with Nathan. Somehow, Dom managed to sit next to me and be on stage. I guess Charlie was on stage singing with Drive Shaft and Dom was dancing next to me. We fell over at one point and he kissed me, which was awkward. But then someone coughed really loud and we got back to dancing in the bleachers. And then everyone recieved a goody bag filled with a huge packaged of colored pencils/crayons and a bag of coloring books. And then I woke up. So, who wants to analyze that one?

OH! And I over-hauled the front page of my website. I think I made it a bit too big. But I'm happy with it otherwise. Let me know what you think.

Ugh, I had thought that I was supposed to train at the library tomorrow, then I get a call at 5:15 today asking why I'm not at the Crofton branch for training. I am so embarassed. I could have *sworn* she had said Wednesday night. Of course, I've deleted the e-mails now so I can't even go back and check. I just feel really stupid for misunderstanding. Ack! Ah well. I have training on Thursday and then next Tuesday. I still have to do my Core Reference stuff too, which I might start tomorrow since my day is now miraculously free. Just gotta find the paperwork.

Anyway, apart from that blunder it was a good day. Babysat the short people, they both seemed sorta cranky this afternoon, but I survived. We watched a little bit of Harry Potter with lunch, which they seemed to enjoy. Skylor still freaks out at random intervals, I dunno what is up with that. Vincent never did that when he was little, that i can remember. I really want to show them Star Wars, I feel as though it is my duty to introduce them to Luke, Leia, and Han. Only thing is, blasters look an awful lot like guns, and I'm not sure how Monica would feel about them. Alex was talking about the first time he saw Star Wars. It was so interesting to hear someone speak about opening day of the first movie. I wonder if anyone has written a book on that. Fans talking about their first time. I find that stuff fascinating.

Ah well, I'm gonna look for my library stuff then hit the hay.
