on the road again
Jan. 1st, 2005 06:22 pmwe're heading home after dinner tonight. the car is PACKED. Over-flowing with presents and food. We were spoiled rotten. many many dvds and video games. Only 3 doubles for this whole xmas, which was pretty lucky. So AD & I will probably spin by best buy this week and return those for more goodies (we're thinking arrested development and paper mario).
"Super Chicks" dominated in the LJ layout poll. I've been working on ideas but since I don't actually have my computer, nothing is done yet. I think I might make a mood theme featuring the super chicks also. AD was sad that Angel didn't win, but I plan on including Illyria and Cordy in the layout. So full Angel cast later.
Doc was kind enough to take me to one if "America's Best" places in Philly for an eye exam. So my current new years resolution is to actually wear my new glasses more often. The doctor said I didn't need them for up close stuff, like reading or computer stuff, but otherwise I should wear them. AD helped me pick out some nice frames, so by mid-january, I should have some very snazzy eyewear.
Steak and Shallots for dinner then home again home again. I will either be exhausted or wide awake when we get back. Tomorrow is my last day at The Limited, helping them set up for the real sale. then I'm done with retail forever. I'm happy to be done, I just hope the library starts calling more often!
