p - a - r - t - why? Cuz i gotta!

dstntp1lgr1m and verdatum came over last night and we had a goofy time. Played Mario Party 6 (which verdatum dominated at...I think he's secretly been honing his skills over the past two months). Then we ate dinner and watched "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" which was sooooo funny. ("Take me to Pleasure Town!") There were so many random people in that flick, it made the movie for me. Have to say, my favorite part was probably the anchorman street brawl. ("ah, man, I did NOT see that coming!"). Then we played Simpsons Clue, which was fun though our strategy is so crap that it took forever. haha. Then a little DDR, where verdatum attempted to kill my dance pad while doing Heavy mode haha. dstntp1lgr1m held his own, though his pants were a bit too long which put him at a disadvantage. I actually did two songs that I've never done before and scored quite high, so I was very happy. I'm getting better!!! Then dstntp1lgr1m went home but I wanted to show verdatum "Resident Evil 4". We turned out all the lights and he played the same part that I played and I've watched jimithingy and it STILL scared the crap outta me. Made me want to play some more though, so I might have to get my RE on today. Finally got to see the cut scene for the chainsaw man - ew!

yeah, so we didn't get to bed until 3:30am. I'm still not quite awake yet, but I'm gonna go eat some leftover pizza and watch a Buffy, and hopefully by then my reflexes will be back to normal and I can shoot some crazed "rural european" villagers.

Oh man, I just played Resident Evil 4 for 2 1/2 hours. That game is so great. Scary, but great. I finally found Ashley so now I'm leading her around telling her to "wait" "hide" or "follow me". When we got back to the village, I remembered that I never went in the tower, so I climbed up there to get a shiny jewel for some cash. Anyway, Ashley starts to climb up and I'm like "ack, whatever!" and jump down. And she freaks out! She's like "ohmy god, you pervert! what are you looking at!". I had to crack up. I love it when the programmers put things like that in. Like in Half-Life 2 when you pick up random stuff and throw it at civilians. Ah. funny stuff.

I finished "Mirror Mirror" the other day. No where near as good as "Wicked", but as jimithingy pointed out, Snow White is hardly as interesting a character as the wicked witch. It just didn't have the magic that "Wicked" had. And he was obsessed with her mentrual cycle at one point, and that put me off. Llike, that stuff works in Carrie because of how that story goes together, and the theme of blood in her life. But the part in "Mirror Mirror" was just yucky. Whateva - need to pick a new book. Suggestions? I started one of the Buffy books I checked out of the library, see if those are any good. I've only got a few more essays life in "Five Season of Angel" then I'll start my Joss bio or Watcher's Guide 3.

Oh yes, and I made some Last Unicorn and LotR icons that I hadn't posted here yet, so I wanted to do that for ya'll. I'm quite proud of the skull one, I think I'll add that to my user pictures right now....
