if I only had a brain

I dunno wtf happened to me today. It was all going along so smoothly, then madness truck at 2:30. The library called and they were desperate for people. I was already scheduled to work 5-9 at a different branch, but they called and asked if I could come to them instead. Then they asked if I could work Friday since they figured the people sick today would probably still be sick tomorrow, so I said yes. So there went my sleeping in day. I won't have a day off until Monday now.

To top it off, I someone lost my babysitting money. Monica gave me $45 today in cash...I remember counting it and putting it in the pocket of my purse...now I can't find it. To make it worse, I went to get dinner thinking I had the money, and while driving to the pick up window I realized I had none. So I had to do a mad dash to the ATM across the street to get money for food. Then I got home and I can't find a show on CD someone wants a copy of. And I just went to write the rent check and I can't remember how much our rent it. AAAAIIEE!

So my brain has apparently melted.

I've decided to treat myself for working all the extra hours this week and I'm ordering a bunch of star wars pins from pinusa.com - the cartoon-style ones. That's my reward for this insane weekend.

I'm going to go read about "the perfect Jedi trap" and then go to bed. ta ta!
