definition of "nasty"

So the plumber showed up yesterday evening and cleaned the pipes for us. And boy did he clean them. jimithingy said that when he shoved the "snake" contraption into the drain, it was brown, and when he took it out again, it was black. And stinky. Oh god, was it stinky. Apparently, it was all grease, and since we're on the bottom floor, we got screwed as the grease stopped up our drain. So our apartment smelled like an auto repair show for a few hours, but now we should be okay as far as drainage goes *crosses fingers*

I have tomorrow off and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with myself. I need to take my car in. The rattling noise is getting louder and I can't remember the last time I had an oil change. The ridiculous part is that there is a repair center right across the street from us. So, I just wrote down the phone number and I'm going to see if I can just drop the car off tomorrow and walk home and wait for them to call me and tell me to come get it.

jimithingy's grandmother is requesting our xmas wishlists already! So I need to get on Amazon and decide what I want her to buy me. So many choices...

I'm also trying to decide whether I should hold out on purchasing the Firefly/Serenity soundtracks or if I should buy at least one of them so I can use the music on my 2005 mix CD. Hm...guess I should start planning that out.

I'm actually contemplating doing mix cds for anyone who wants one...personalized mixes of songs that make me think of you. Does that sound like something anyone would be interested in? If you are, let me know, then I'll set up a post to get your info.

vertigozooropa posted this quiz and I had to take it, but I will say, I don't feel the quiz had enough questions to actually reach this conclusion but whatever. I'm not a fan of "one or the other" kinda of questions but I don't really have issue with the results either
