orangerful: (life doesn't suck // orangerful)
curses! We went to Burger King last night in the hopes of snagging some of the new star wars toys - but alas, our BK did not have the new toys in yet! They did have the watches though, so I now have the Episode I and Episode IV watches and their ridiculous little collector tins. What can I put in these tins!

Anyway, I'm at the Crofton library now, so as soon as I get outta here, I'm going to run across the street and see if the BK there has figures (and will sell them to me without making me buy more food).

Speaking of collectibles - Hasbro has posted an official announcement and pictures of the new Star Wars Transformers. Have to say, I'm gonna wait and see what these look like up close. They've got the whole nostalgia angle working for them, but at the same time...they sorta look weird haha.

I have to say both Family Guy and Arrested Development were hilarious this week. I mean, laugh out loud, falling off the couch in a giggle fit funny. Good stuff. And Kitchen Confidential should be back next week! (ALERT TO [livejournal.com profile] blu_harvest, your boy Michael Vartan will be guest starring on the show!!!! YOU MUST WATCH!!) Also, if you've never seen Kitchen Confidential (which wouldn't be too hard to do since FOX ran stupid baseball and stopped all my shows for 4 weeks!) then you can watch a whole episode streaming from MySpace! Yes, I hate MySpace, but it seems they have been eaten by the marketing machine and if this is a sign of things to come then cool! I mean, it would be nice to just hop online and preview a show before attempting to catch it every week, especially shows you keep hearing about from friends. Though I'm sure the networks are interested because they can do some big statistical number cruch and figure out how many people watch the show and what kind of people by the MySpace friends list.

Tonight, it's a new episode of 'House' in all it's snarkyness. Last week's show was really good, so I'm hoping that this week will be up to snuff (though last week they did have Ron Livingston guest star, and I really like him, so bonus points there. No big name stars this week that I'm aware of (besides Hugh).

Phew, almost 5pm! weeeee! Got crazy there for a minute. Better post this before livejournal gets hungry and decides to eat it!
