orangerful: (superman // orangerful)
wow, sometimes I even amaze myself:

Today I took to work with me my copy of 'The Man From Krypton' so I could read about Superman (today the articles were about why the events of 'Dark Knight Returns' were inevitable, how Smallville has a lot of communist undertones, and which portrayer of Superman (prior to 2006) was the best at what he did).

Anyway, so I get to work and what arrives for me? The novelization of 'Superman Returns'. Which I also start reading on my short afternoon break.

Then I get home, and which Netflix DVD have I ordered? Why it's "Look Up In the Sky: The Amazing Story of Superman" which I somehow convince [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy to watch with me during dinner.

Honestly, I need help.

[livejournal.com profile] toothlesshag, you should rent this and just watch the opening, you'll probably pass out since they flash images of Reeve, Welling, and Routh about 3 seconds apart from each other. I fell over after seeing all that hotness at once! A girl can only take so much.

And I am going to Netflix the last few seasons of Smallville that I missed.

AH! Why hasn't someone invented the transporter yet? I need to be beamed to San Diego IMMEDIATELY!

Joss will be at Comic Con on Saturday!

*sigh* Some day....some day he'll be close enough for me to meet him. Really, all I want to do is hug him and say thank you.

Also, falling under the "If I Had a Million Dollars" heading - more props from 'Serenity' went on sale. I have to say, the framed bank notes are pretty darn cool. Oh if I had the cash to blow, I would blow it. At least on one piece. Just to have it.

Seriously though, Joss needs to get his booty over to this coast.
