I got the mid-quarter blues
May. 2nd, 2008 12:21 amOkay, not really the blues, I'm just exhausted because this is week 5 of the 10 week quarter and EVERYTHING is due. So I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Today I had to read some cataloging websites and post to my cataloging tools blog. Saturday I have to turn in a quiz, Sunday I have to turn in a Pathfinder, and by Monday night I have to turn in a 8 page paper.
Luckily, I have many of these things in rough draft form already so I just need to tweak them and send them on their way.
BUT! Tomorrow will rock because we get to see Eddie Izzard!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be crazy as I work until 3 then I'm sneaking out early so we can get down to D.C. and get some foods before the 8pm show. Still, should be fun! I can't wait to belly laugh and just forget about everything.
Saturday is the DCSWCC 3rd Star Wars Roadshow. Its at the library down the road from me so I am going to stop by, though I don't really have any appraisal experience. I'll just be there to represent the ladies.
Oh, and I wrote down all my courses today just to see how much longer I have, and if I pass everything this quarter, I will only need 5 more classes. INSANE. I could be done in time for Christmas! I'm ready to be done with school but I don't know if I'm ready to have an MLS haha. That means more work! Still, I will be official.
Okay, it is late and I must go skim this crappy Joan Lowry Nixon mystery book (which is a TOTAL Clue rip-off...I'm going to complain in my class next week) then off to bed so I can be well rested for tomorrow's super-happy-fun-time!
