happy days meme - Day 2

Ack! I forgot to post about something that made me happy! (remember, lostacanthus tagged me the other day).

Well, here's the stuff that made me smile yesterday:

1. Playing a co-op game of Loderunner with AD on our Xbox360. I'd never played the original, and the co-op game is too fun because we have to work as a team. Also, "Lode" is a hilarious word that can be punned many times.

2. Loderunner fried my brain and I could no longer speaky the English good. When asking what I could have for dinner I said "are there any left-ican Mex-overs?" AD's theory is that I had to use the other side of my brain to solve the loderunner puzzles so the other one took a bit of a snooze and wasn't quite ready for that level of conversation. I pretty much *gigglesnorted* until I could talk straight again.

3. DOLLHOUSE! I really enjoyed last night's episode. Not the best EVAR but definitely an example of how strong the series can be.

Day Three, things that made me happy:

Big Bang Theory - we finished up season 1. It's hard not to love a show where I get way too many of the jokes. Can't wait to start s2, more Penny/Leonard and some Sheldon hijinks!

Office supplies - okay, so I resisted buying new pens and paper, but I still had a good time going to Office Depot with AD so he could get new pens. Why do I have an addiction to office supplies??? There is something about a fresh pack of pens and notepaper that makes me giggle.

Spazzing at new fans and old fans - faeriesfolly and I had a good ol' time discussing last night's Dollhouse episode. And on Facebook, I'm talking to a friend from work who just started watching Buffy (well, she's up to season 4, but it's her first time through) and it's so fun to spaz with her as she discovers the magic of BtVS. I'm trying to get her to watch Angel and Firefly next.
