  • @clubjade that's a lot of star wars fans with no sense of humor. Clearly they are upset by BBT because it hits too close to home. Yeesh. #
  • pretty quiet Saturday at the library...only 2pm and I'm ready to go home now. I want to play Wolverine! #
  • they didn't have the Daisy Fuentes Favorite Tank Tops at Kohls but they have them online...maybe pick up a few other summer items. #
  • @WFDT you've raised them well. Which one do they ask for? ToD was my fave as a kid (RotLA ghosts were too scary but heart removal was ok!) #
  • @Kohls_Official I love ordering from Kohls.com, less stress when it comes to searching for sizes. Plus, easy to return if they don't fit #

Testing testing 1 2 3 will this entry appear on livejournal like it SAYS it should?

I have a dreamwidth account, yay! I swear I'll actually start using it for something more than testing cross-posting capabilities soon!

but for now

*clicks*

I finally finished off the box of Rice Krispies I bought right before Star Trek came out. For one token and $9.99, I can get myself my very own Starfleet t-shirt (100% Polyester - so space age!)

But now I have to make a decision! Do I go for the iconic red shirt and doom myself to being the third wheel for all landing parties in the future or do I don the blue shirt, the shirt of scientists and doctors and Sexy!Spock or do I act all high and mighty and promote myself to Captain (and if Kirk's already sitting in the chair, I'll just sit on his lap)?

So I thought - POLL!

Bolt is the star of a tv series.  Only he doesn't know its all make-believe.  At the end of every shoot, he is whisked away to his trailer by his owner, Penny, and hidden from the cameras and crew, left to think it was all real.  But one fateful day he managed to escape the trailer and he soon discovers the truth.

It's a cute movie, and truly a fun movie for the whole family...once.  Something tells me that this predictable story will wear thin after multiple viewing by adults who are familiar with these story lines.  I think kids will want to watch it over and over, but it lacks the rewatchability of such Pixar classics like WallE and Finding Nemo that makes adults want to sit down again.  It doesn't work on the different levels that those films do.

But it's fun and a good movie for a night when you're not in the mood for deep thinking or violent battles.  It's heart is in the right place and its hard not to laugh out loud at several of the animal antics (especially if you have pets).

Definitely worth a viewing, and the DVD looks stunning on an HD-TV (I imagine the Blu-Ray version will melt your screen).
