i want to go to there

omg I'm so exhausted. Crazy weekend. We flew back from Floriday and got home around 9pm tonight. DVR took care of True Blood for us so we're all caught up and I am ready to PASS OUT!

But first, watching all the Comic Con madness via Twitter has made me very very excited for Dragon*Con. I know the level of crazy won't be quite that big, but since it is my first Con since Star Wars Celebration III, I'm sure it will be plenty overwhelming. So here are a few things I've been thinking about:

faeriesfolly - they posted the Dragon*Con 2009 Whedon Track schedule. We MUST attend either the "Buffy Horror Picture Show" or "Dr Horrible" and I really want to attend the tribute to Andy Hallet night. And, of course, the Buffy/Angel Guest Extravaganza!

Along with that, we def. have to stop by the Digital Gaming area so I can get my Rock Band on...and whatever other awesome stuff they might have up there...I haven't even looked at the other Tracks yet, but I'm sure we'll see more stuff that we must do. :)

I should probably make sure I'm caught up on Season 8 before I venture anywhere near the comics discussions. I'm a few issues behind...

OMG it looks like Peter Beagle will be at the Con! Last Unicorn is one of my all time favorite books/movies. I have an autographed copy of the DVD that my parents got for me, but I think I'll bring my book along to get signed. Probably means I should start his new short story collection that I just checked out of the library

The American Sci-Fi Media Track has not posted a schedule yet, but I know I will be all over that because of the BSG peeps attending this year...another on the MUST list for me.

I really need to figure out my costumes. I still think a Sims outfit would be easy to throw together, I mean I just need to make the green glowing diamond thingy...bet I could make it out of styrofoam or something and have it not weigh too much. Then I just wear whatever I want because - hello - Sims 3 has the ultimate customization! haha. Still need to order my Merlottes shirt and figure out what top I am wearing for my Doll/Active outfit since my chest is probably too big for just a tank top. Could probably fake it with one of my super-comfy Daisy Fuentes tank tops...

I should get to bed...back to work in the morning...need to remember to request off one extra day before Dragon*Con because I think I said I would work a half-day on Wednesday and then drive to WVA to get faeriesfolly but I was thinking about it last night and decided that was probably insane...
