time to let LJ go?
Nov. 8th, 2012 07:50 pmSo, I was just clicking around, just sorta browsing and I the most recent blog post that has people freaking out about livejournal. I wasn't too shocked by the changes (making the design more like tumblr since tumblr is kicking butt right now), but within the comments, I found a link to another article talking about how almost ALL of livejournal's U.S. employees have left and the entire operation will probably be run out of Moscow by next year.
So I'm trying to decide what that means about MY livejournal. It already seems more quiet over here...it makes me sad but this is the internet and maybe it's time to let go of Livejournal...I have a Dreamwidth account, which seems to be the transfer blog of choice since it's the same design.
I still want a blogging space where I can share my thoughts. Lord knows I have enough orangerful blogs out there that I can revive but I want to take my fandom friends with me.
Thoughts?
