well, shit.

So I went to the post office last week and sent out all the packages and
all my CDs and was thinking almost everyone should have them in-hand by now.

Then I went to check my mailbox on Saturday and noticed it was jammed. So
I had to put in a service request with the apartment complex to come check
it out.

This morning I got a knock on my door, new keys to my mailbox, all of YOUR
cards you mailed on time and ALL OF MY CD PACKAGES RETURNED!

The stupid automated postage machine miscalculated EVERYTHING by 65 cents
so they all came back to me. ARGH!!!!!!!!

SO - you were not forgotten, you disc is not lost, it will be in the mail
TOMORROW!

...and just pretend the card refers to whatever holiday is closest to when
you actually get the CD (sorry, "international" friends, I haven't mailed
yours yet because the automated machine didn't do long-distance and the
line was too long for me to go inside).

So, yeah...that is on my to-do list for tomorrow. **facepalm**

FYI - there are two FREE custom userheads up in the LJ shop -- a little Santa and a girl with a blue cap on (thank you skindyedindigo for the heads up, pun intended)

OH! And speaking of freebies, Xbox and iTunes both have episode 1 of THE WALKING DEAD game up for FREE right now as well. Supposed to be really good and they retailed for like $5 each so another great deal to grab while you can.

I'm trying to avoid the STEAM website because SO MUCH ON SALE! And even though I love my computer, most of my gaming happens on the Xbox so I shouldn't really buy anything...but then again I really want to get Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis. It was one of my favorite games as a kid. And it's just $3.
